Ah yes, was waiting for ages to type that title...

Finished them over the weekend. Have now done 4 adjacent ranges with Mangertons, Reeks and Purple, stretching through South Kerry. As Blur sang (or Phil Daniels said, to be more accurate), it gives me a sense of enormous well being.

Some peaks I might never climb again (yeah Eskanabrock and the Reeks Knockbrack, I'm thinking of ye). Some I've done many times and will do them many more times, because of their aesthetic, fame or proximity, like Mullaghanattin, Carrauntoohil or Peakeen/Knockanaguish/Boughil. I think I could sculpt Peakeen with mashed potato and a fork, like Richard Dreyfuss in Close Encounters. Now perhaps there's an idea for the diners after the next Scavvy...make a potato replica of your favourite mountain...
