The Big Gun
Know a couple of non MVers who are enthused about the prospect of the Big Gun, so may bring them along. Though have warned them about the head for heights issue - I think it's a much more exposed and airier ridge than Beenkeragh Ridge where the significant drop is limited to one side. There are also few escape options once one sets off on the Big Gun (bar a long trudge all the way down the north side of An Cruach Mhor), though there is a path some way below the ridge proper and tracks around a couple of the more exposed boulders. If one goes straight over the ridge, to my mind it's the best walk that I know.

Incidentally, once Carrauntoohil is reached, what is the planned descent? Know one or two who want to do full Reeks walk so if their fitness permits they could kill two birds and press on over Caher, and organise their own transport on that side.
