Mother Knows Money!
Seen a comment about the Binnian track and how it's protector is doing a good job. I don't think tracks like that should be allowed in the mountains. If you wanted to protect the environment and reduce erosion then "close" the mountain and stop promoting the hills as a money making venture through tourism and the ever growing commercial/charity events. Jim voluntarily organises excellent events for mountain people, which have been about alot longer than the tourist bumpf which has heightened the growth of erosion and pollution in our hills.
