INSIDE OUT
Hello Slemish – which I believe is much the same as Slem but not quite.
Anyhoo …. I note you are setting about the Antrim Hills and good.
Just to relate an amusing incident. There is a bunch of stores in the North (you will know it) whom I shall resist naming to keep us all out of the jail, whose prerequisites to work for them seem to be charm, enthusiasm and stupidity. I have encountered this in all of their emporia. I was in one of their places being charmed, enthused and blinded with stupidity when it occurred to me that it was high (sic) time I walked the Antrim Hills. “Do you have any maps of the Antrim Hills?” I enquired of perfesser shop assistant. He paused and I knew behind those charming, enthusiastic eyes, idled the brain of perhaps a dog or a seal – something high in the mammal department, but defo not a human. “Ah,” he said, which is always a bad start “we only do outdoor maps here”. So next time you are in the Antrim Hills and it is bucketing, just thank God you’re not outside.

Though the road near L88003920 appears unfenced you will encounter a fence very soon after leaving the road. This fence extends along this back road, Bothar na Scrathóg and keeps cattle in typical...
