Scarpa Manta
Conor74, just to make you feel bad, we brought a pair of Scarpa Manta in TKMAXX in December 2009 for about €70!. You should be able to get a pair on ebay for £100 to £150. You might need to go half or a whole size (metric) bigger than usual to allow for thicker socks in winter and to avoid your toes hitting the end of the boot if you are kicking steps in the snow.
