just to revise the dead bun fight a little I checked with MHT as to the 'authority' 'who did they think they were' EIA, permissions ,agencies involved and mouldy old dough I even read all the online documents that lovely dhm dredged up and the answer is...42...no the answer is of course they did all the requisite form filling consultation etc and if you read all the stuff then go especially after the work is done and judge for yourself I think it will be favorable. And to crampon man and the ice steps I took a large group of charity walkers up the ice steps at 5 in the morning frozen solid before christmas and it wasnt easy but it wasnt everest either we even endured the heavy snowfall nov 28th before we made it to rostrevor and not a twisted ankle between all 50 of us ..well maybe the odd twinge so adieu ,bon soir ,buona sera, slan agus etc.....
