Sustainable pre-ambles
Imagine my delight upon returning from a well deserved rest in accursed albion visiting the sprogs, to find the learned and respected inner sanctum awakened from torpor and engaging in the discussion, some well balanced and researched comments (thats the way its done your darkness ,read first, spout after) its a thorny issue, much erosion of the soul never mind the soil. The boardwalks of wicklow I have walked with no delight but I see the point as I walked there before and after, they serve a purpose. The steps of Donard could easily have featured in the tiny hobbits quest to reach Mordor, I believe these were performed in another era by another authority and stand as a reference point rather than a talking point. The emotive photos of diggers in the Annalong valley ...they were a short exercise of necessity, the path was forged long ago in pusuit of stone for the streets of liverpool et al, give it 2 months of rain you wont know the difference, and new techniques and ideas are at the heart of the project incuding ongoing small scale 4 men with shovels work, which is where Im involved. Its good to talk ,may your feet be always on the hills....hopefully the boardwalks of wicklow
