Wicklow Campsite
Thanks to all the people who e-mailed me campsite suggestions. We eventually settled on one that would allow you to approach the steep slopes and chimney of Lugnaquilla from the south-west . It was just perfect (sheltered, flat, wood, water, quiet, 1 1/2 hours to Dublin). Thanks for not pointing out that it was possible to drive to it through the forest, the walk -in was really beautiful. I can give the exact location on e-mail to any serious walkers who will leave the place exactly as they found it.
