No more volcanoes
Sorry to disappoint, but Sugarloaf Mountain overlooking Bantry Bay is composed entirely of Devonian (Old Red) sandstone and conglomerates. Looking at the digital geological bedrock data for Ireland it would appear that the only other volcanic rocks in the area are sills and lava flows in SW Beara and on Valentia and Beginish islands. There is a large volcanic complex near Pallas Green south of Limerick but it is poorly exposed.
