Mystery bird in the Dartry Mountains.....
....well a mystery to me anyway! I disturbed a beautiful white dove/plover-like bird today on Tievebaun in the Dartry Mountains near the plane wreckage site (at an elevation in excess of 600m). It had at least one grey bar on its wings. I'd appreciate suggestions from MV-ers as to what this bird might be, as I've never seen it before in four years of hillwalking.
