Totally agree with mcc it was potentially a mc crutchly day we passed the same spot at 5.30 am on our charity walk from newcastle ,to rostrevor the glen river from the ice house ! what fun !was a skate rink with the steps almost impassible except by careful nifty footwork on the edges several v bad sections .Its unfortunate that water runs down the steps in places as the snow was ok just the crystal clear hard ice in places 4cms so be warned all planning a trip in the next few days.
