Camping in Caha with csd
A fine area I would recommend would be on the col between Hungry hill and Knocknagree.Leave the car at Rosmackowen Church V74200 47209 and head up the little borheen immediately after the Church on the Castletownbere side.
Take the left hand fork after a few hundred meters and continue on through a gate following a rough track to the Glas Loughs at about 400 meters elevation.
No access problems here, even though you pass through some farmland initially, landowner was very welcoming.
Using the Glas loughs as a camp you have possibilities of Hungry hill, Knocknagree, Lackawee and Maulin.
I could not recommend this wild area enough if you get the weather, if you don't well hey thats camping.
Glad to see you enjoyed the Comeraghs, have a good one!
