Re: Highest corrie in Ireland
Hi James, The highest corrie lake in Kerry is L. Cumeenoughter on Corrán Tuathail, at about 710m, whereas the lake you mention on Beenoskee, Loch an Choimín, is only at 616m according to the OSI map. L. Coimín na Péiste in the Eastern Reeks is the highest large lake, at about 650m. The highest of the Pater Noster Lakes on Brandon is also quite high up, at just under 700m. I don't think there's anything higher than Cumeenoughter in the rest of the country, as far as I know.
