HARVEST FOR THE WORDS
Captain. My melancholic Captain. There is Death and there are Poets; and only one of them you should put your money on. These poor, pretty words – yours, mine and absolutely everything else will all disappear into that dull ether. On that day, if we are lucky; we shall be surrounded by our beloved hills – the final snapshot before we depart this strange place. The only harvest will be brought in by our black-feathered friends.
Praise for the like of my efforts is ten times, from your pen.
Shame you had to stun your lovely wife first, to get her to listen. Hope she is recovering; and good to see you in flight. Came across some of your Navan compatriots a couple of weeks back, on Lamagan. Slow but pleasing. Regards. PS Sic Ford - very very good.

Robber's Pass Hill: Minor heathery lump. Overcivilised and underwhelming.
Collaborative entry Last edit by: simon3 a week ago.
This oddly named hill is more a very minor heathery bump incorporated into the system of tracks laid out by the Wicklow Mountains National Park. It can be reached from any of the western car-parks...

Croaghmoyle: Easy walk up to great views

Low lying cloud/mist/fog discouraged me from putting the effort into going up Nephin today. On the way home I parked at the start of the Croaghmoyle service road and followed it past a wind turbin...
