Buxom and moorish. (Expand pics)
Brandy Pad.
The Brandy Pad skirts the leanings of Sliabh na gCloch, Mountain of the stones, and Sliabh Corragh, the Rugged Mountain. The glen, sweeping generously down and away from it, looks benign enough as if this bog was but a mossy veneer, carpeting the huge expanse. After the Trassey Bog V Track debacle, one of us had learned our lesson the hard way. This is big country. You could spit and swear till the crows come home and devil the bit would know of it, but try doing it undercover, and the game is up. This is no place for hide and seek. Not a tree in sight. Deserted, save for the odd shock of crow, swept off Bearnagh.
