Wicklow Maps
Hi CSD, several people have asked when next EastWest Mapping sheets will be printed. I think it'll be late 2009/ early 2010 before we can publish our maps, Wicklow West and Lugnaquilla/ Glendalough. The fact is that we have to get out of the ground and tramp these tracks and paths to survey, verify, classify etc. The sort of detail that makes a good recreational map is hard won - you can't see it on imagery. So that's the summer and early autumn sorted!!

Note to padodes: I've long known about the air crash on White Hill and seen bits around the area but never seen that picture. Fascinating - thanks.
