Big Dead Fish Small Dead Pool
Yes Simon indeed – although you have to calm yourself – our leader on a drip is no good; no good at all. What you describe (and I am pleased to know nothing of the players or the game) is a small gene pool in a huge ocean defending itself by the only means possible – stealth. It can’t win with numbers; it may not be able to win by force of argument; so it has to “work” things. Such skills although not admirable are fascinating and are drawn entirely from panic. “Rarified” is so close to extinct that the difference barely exists. Imagine a situation (one albeit into which one has got oneself) where but one word out of place (a word like “council”) could banish you to the land of forgotten. Which is why I despise these kinds of groups – busy-work people staying alive to be important. Think about it: where would the Boers be in Seth Effrica if they’d called themselves Effricans or better still, the Brits in the North had they called themselves “Irish”? You know I like to exaggerate to make the point – but you get my drift. Don’t trouble yourself about this. Our turn will come should we want to accept it which elitists shits like me will choose not to. It is sad, with all the effort you and others in the “walking” fraternity invest that these crappers are so desperate to defend themselves. By way of consolation, if there can be any when you are as fired up as you are, there are no mountains in Scotland. There are “Hills” – so no probs.
