MountainViews.ie Picture about mountain Carrig Island in area Kerry Islands, Ireland
Picture: Napoleonic Battery Fortress.

Kerry Island.

The Island is connected to the mainland allowing for vehicle access and out from the coastal walk the island is well farmed it even has its own B/B. The high point of the island is located adjacent to the Napoleonic Fortress so access is not an issue as this is a public area complete with seating so that you can relax and view the ships as they go by.As you arrive on the island follow the gravel tract left parking where suitable and continue on to the fort.
