Endurance contains the story of seven heroic marches in Ireland occurring from the Iron Age to the seventeenth century from the “Cattle Raid of Cooley” (Táin) to the travels of Michael O’Clery, salvager of the Annals of the Four Masters (an ancient history of Ireland). The book, 253pp, includes some general area maps, an index and an extensive bibliography of some 40 titles.
