Publisher: Gill & Macmillan Published: 2004 Last revision: Added by davidhorkan
This is his 120 page sequel to easy walks near Dublin (1999). He has another 35 walks in the Dublin/ Wicklow area.None of the walks exceed 3 hours , they are mostly circular, & are really designed for amblers & leisure walkers..

Leisure walks near Dublin is not for those who compete in the 2 yearly 50k Lug Walk. However if you wish to vary some of your existing walks or access them from a different spot this is an excellent guide. As ever Joss Lynam is both accurate & precise & his instructions are easy to follow. For anyone who wishes to extend their horizons beyond Crone Wood & Glendalough, his two Dublin books are a must.

Crockmulroney: Good summit for Carn-baggers
Colin Murphy 3 days ago.
A fine hill with a well defined summit and great views. Plenty of parking spots along the R254 directly to the south of the summit. From there it's a relatively simple 1km climb to the top.
